Bolivia, NC – Description The Central Permitting Supervisor performs a variety of administrative, technical, and professional duties for the Central Permitting Division of Code Administration. Work involves the issuance of zoning, environmental health, building code, and related land use permits. Employee is responsible for reviewing individual requests for property development to determine location of property and other land use regulations. Employee is also responsible for overseeing acceptance of payments and account charges, providing receipts, ensuring fiscal accountability, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a variety of records and files. The Central Permitting Supervisor is responsible for all public monies handled through the Central Permitting Office. Must exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in completing assignments and handling public contact situations.
