An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join our team in Finland.
Finland’s oldest city, and it¿s gateway to the West, Turku is an international thriving city whose rich cultural heritage is complemented by its forwardlooking people.
We offer you the opportunity to join and lead our team in our flagship Restaurant Pinella, the oldest running restaurant in Finland. The historically important restaurant building is located by the river Aura in Turku old town centre and encompasses 100 seats in the winter season added by several terraces in the summer time expanding capacity to 300. The restaurant was opened by Sunborn in 2011 after a major modernization of the building and food preparation facilities.
We are looking for a passionate and driven person with a broad international culinary knowledge and real passion for food and a creative mind. Working closely with Group F&B Management, the Executive Chef will be responsible for creating and relaunching a new food concept and will oversee and lead the kitchen team and work closely with the restaurant manager and beverage team to create a thrilling experience for our clients. The ideal Executive Chef will need to be passionate about food, creative and forward thinking but also have good business acumen. You will be an inspiration to the team and help develop their skills and knowledgemoving forward. This role is full time, permanent and will include weekends and other holidays.
